Dear Friend of ECHO
Dear Friend of ECHO,
As 2019 comes to a close and you consider both holiday giving and year-end charitable donations, I ask that you remember ECHO.
Our mission in serving adults with disabilities remains strong, thanks to the community support we’ve been fortunate to have over the years. As our operating revenue continues to be under threat due to ever changing regulations and reimbursement rates, our costs continue to climb.
We recently had to replace an expensive HVAC unit in order to provide adequate heat in our LIFE program. Our fleet of vehicles, critical to helping our participants get to work each day, is in constant need of maintenance. There are new programs like the ECHO Assessment Center and the ECHO Academy poised for growth in need of revenue. There is much to do!
To quote one ECHO parent, “The kindness and generosity toward our son has been overwhelming. There is no greater gift for a person with disabilities than to be treated as an equal, one of the guys, a buddy.” This empowerment is embodied in the growing services and programs we offer the people we serve.
Your donation is extremely valuable to the people we serve. You can contribute via mail or online at www.echoworks.org/donors. Thank you!
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and I hope your 2020 will be a good year!
Sincerely,
Paul Donohue, Jr.
