Leiah M. Rocheleau Joins ECHO Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Every Citizen Has Opportunities, Inc. (ECHO) announced the appointment of Leiah M. Rocheleau as a member of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mrs. Rocheleau is the Commercial Relationship Manager at FVCbank. First Virginia Community Bank (“FVCbank”) opened in November 2007 and is committed to giving back to its shareholders, friends and neighbors to build a financial services organization focused on the Northern Virginia business community, its owners and employees.  Its mission is to do more than provide traditional banking products — to help people achieve their financial dreams, whether that’s creating a Fortune 500 company, planning for college educations, retirement, or whatever that dream may be.

“Leiah’s youthful energy and zeal is infectious. Her contacts with the business and commercial community will be a tremendous asset to the ECHO Board of Directors,” said Laurraine Landolt, Chair of ECHO’s Board Development Committee and a member of the Board.

“I am delighted that ECHO will benefit from Leiah’s enthusiasm for our mission”, added Paul Donohue, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of ECHO. “She is full of ideas, and her strong network will help ECHO achieve our ambitious employment and fundraising goals.”

Mrs. Rocheleau has nearly 14 years of experience in the banking industry. Loudoun Now has voted her the Favorite Banker in Loudoun 2016 and 2017 and she was recently honored as one of Loudoun’s 40 under 40. Prior to joining FVCbank in 2017, Mrs. Rocheleau was Vice President Regional Banking Manager of Middleburg Bank. Mrs. Rocheleau has also held positions at Great Western Bank, M&I Bank and Flagstar Bank.

“I’m thrilled,” said Mrs. Rocheleau. “I’ve only been in Loudoun County since 2014 and have been searching for the right organization whose mission and visions match my own.”

Mrs. Rocheleau is a member of the Mrs. D.C. America 2018 delegates and also serves on the Board of Directors for Kids R First in Reston. Mrs. Rocheleau holds an Associate of Arts (Marketing) from Johnson County Community College.
