Greenway Drive Tops High Mark

A NEW RECORD FOR LOCAL CHARITIES:

- · Thursday, May 16, 2013 was the Greenway’s highest traffic day in the past 3 years.
· In the past eight years of the Drive For Chairty, the Dulles Greenway has
raised $1,797,404.91 for local charities and scholarships.
The Dulles Greenway’s 8th annual Drive For Charity has set a new record for donations with an amazing $268,942.85 collected on Thursday, May 16, 2013. As always, this money will be donated to great local charities including ECHO, Fresh Air/Full Care, Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter, Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy, March of Dimes and the Greenway scholarship program.
“The Drive for Charity is always a fantastic event and each year we see a increase in traffic,” said Terry Hoffman, Public & Customer Relations Manager of the Dulles Greenway. “The commitment Dulles Greenway drivers have to our charity partners are making a real difference in people’s lives. We are proud to be a small part of making Loudoun County a better place.”
