Inclement weather policy and text alert system

Please keep in mind our inclement weather policy:

ECHO attempts to operate its programs even in times of bad weather.  When the weather is bad, ECHO may choose to do one of the following:ECHO attempts to operate its programs even in times of bad weather.  When the weather is bad, ECHO may choose to do one of the following:
1. We may open with a one or two hour delay.
2. We may open the administrative offices only for staff and be closed to participants.
3. We may close altogether.
4. We may close early if the weather conditions worsen during the day.

The safety of ECHO’s staff and program participants is always our top concern. ECHO is committed to making closure and delay decisions by 5:30 AM the morning of the event. Announcements will be made in the following ways:

Broadcasts and News Websites :WINC 92.5 FM (WINCHESTER) – www.winc.fm
ABC–WJLA – CHANNEL 7 (WASHINGTON) www.wjla.com
Listen for or look for the “ECHO of Leesburg” listing.
ECHO will also record a message on the voicemail system announcing any changes to operating procedures at this number:  703-779-2100.
