Briar Woods High School American Sign Language Club Game Night Success

Thanks to the Briar Woods High School American Sign Language (ASL) Club for putting together an all fun & games evening that supported ECHOworks. Everyone enjoyed the giant Jenga, giant tic-tac-toe and life size Candyland games as well as regular mini golf, bowling, and corn hole toss. Learning was included in the fun with “Learn ASL” charades and student made posters around the room emphasizing American Sign Language in the world today. People played games all evening while waiting for the next raffle prize to be called. Among the raffle prizes were gift cards donated by Blue Ridge Grill, Robeks, Starbucks, the Zone, Sweetfrog and Loudoun Bluegrass Festival tickets from ECHO. With free snacks including cookies, fruit, chips, dips and veggies and cheeses; and free drinks it was not surprising that everyone hung around until the end. Great work by all ASL club members and Mrs. Warnock, their teacher.ASL Club
